Everything is as expected since this is like a traditional hanok.

The toilet space, the limited water tank for shower, no hand washing soap (not everyone likes soap bar). The whole unit has only one bin. The futon mattresses are a bit thin.

Stunning hanok, a must stay!

Absolutely gorgeous Hanoks. Very easy to find. It was located on a quiet street, about 12 minutes to get into Seowipo by car. We didn't use the bathing house as we didn't know the correct process, but it was clean and well lit. The heated flooring was great in the room and the futons were very comfortable. We stayed in May so was not too cold or two hot. A little drafty in the dining area but we werent bothered by that at all. You need to be self sufficient as we only saw the staff member (owner?) on check in and check out, but im sure if you needed help they were only a phone call away. The accommodation really made our stay on Jeju Island unique. We would come back again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in the "two bedroom" hanok, it definitely had one proper bedroom however the only other heated floor/bedroom type room was the entry way that led to the dining area/bathroom and other bedroom. Not very private but it worked okay for us.

good experience to stay in an ancient korea house kitchen amenities are well equipped and clean the futons blankets are clean as well very place if you stay as a family or in a group the host is friendly

outdoor environment looks very nice and peaceful

I won’t recommend anyone comes in winter. The windows and doors all have such big gaps. I did see the reviews mentioned about the cold air came through in winter and tried to clarify with the owner but he ignored and he just said all hanoks are like this. The living room and toilet are even colder. shower is very simple and crude. We tried to ask for help but owner is very impatient. Even my Korean friend couldn’t stand for the house. We just decided to check out earlier. But owner again is not responding anything and refused to refund (which we really think comfort is more important)

We enjoy the experience to stay in a traditional Korea building.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are exactly as shown in the pictures. There are in room shower inside the bungalow and was not clear in the hotel description. Although it was small but functional.

The location is somewhat isolated. It is not a problem if you have a car.

The owner is so friendly. We got upgraded!!! The house is equipped with mini kitchen which include rice cooker, pans and pots. Family can save alot if cook by yourself. The surrounding is superb. Owner plucked us some fresh tangerine from his farm just beside the lodging compound. Its a modern toilet with hot hot shower and heated toilet bowl in winter. There is another house- unisex sauna澡堂 outside. It's a great experience that you should not miss!!!!

Need to provide some stools for elderly who can't sit on floor.

Horrible host

I choose this because of korean traditional style.

Owner is quite horrible host. Construction keep going on. Not a single day was quite. House is not suitable for 5ppl or so. It says three rooms but it has only two rooms. Another room he insisted is not a room. Generally horrible staying.
